Ermiao Pills is a traditional Chinese medicine preparation made by the traditional Shuifan Pills after the fried Atractylodes and Cortex Phellodendris are crushed in a ratio of 1:1. In the prescription, Atractylodes Rhizoma is bitter, warm, fragrant and dry, dry dampness and invigorate the spleen, so that there is no reason for dampness to arise, and when dampness is removed, heat has no place to rely on, and heat is easily eliminated. Lower Jiao, clears the heat in the lower part, removes the dampness of the feet and knees, and is the essential medicine for the treatment of dampness and heat. Compatibility of the two medicines, clearing heat and drying dampness, and taking into account the specimens, so that heat and dampness are removed, and all symptoms heal themselves. Ermiao Pill is the basic formula used in traditional Chinese medicine for clearing away heat and dampness.
Ermiao Pill has a simple formula, almost no toxic and side effects, and is very safe to take for a long time. In all clinical departments of traditional Chinese medicine, as long as the syndrome is the syndrome of dampness and heat, especially the syndrome of dampness and heat, it can be used.

mouth ulcers
Grind Ermiao powder into fine powder, add honey and mix well (the ratio is 1:5), bottle for later use. When using, take an appropriate amount of ointment and apply it to the ulcer, 3 times a day, and swallow it after 15 minutes. It is not advisable to eat within 1 hour after taking the medicine.
gout
Take 5 grams each time with warm water, before breakfast and after dinner. It can clear heat and remove dampness, and assist in the treatment of gout. People with insufficient qi and blood should not take it.
chronic biliary infection
6 grams each time, 3 times a day, with warm water. 5 days is a course of treatment. Continue to take until the symptoms disappear.
sciatica
8 grams each time, 3 times a day, half of rice wine and half of boiled water. 7 days is a course of treatment.
impetigo

8 grams each time, 3 times a day, 10 days as a course of treatment. Simultaneous application with western medicines for liver protection can significantly improve the curative effect and shorten the course of the disease.
excessive leucorrhea in women
Take 5 grams each time with boiling water, 2 times a day. 5 days is a course of treatment. Symptoms usually disappear after 2 to 3 courses of treatment.
acute glomerulonephritis
6 grams each time, 3 times a day, with warm water. 7 days is a course of treatment. During the medication, avoid salt in diet, pay attention to rest, and prevent colds. After the symptoms disappear, the drug should be continued for 6 days and then discontinued.
Adding Achyranthes on the basis of Ermiaowan is Sanmiaowan. Achyranthes can promote blood circulation and disperse the meridians, benefit joints, and induce medicine to descend. The three medicines are used together to achieve the effect of clearing heat and drying dampness. In TCM clinical practice, Sanmiao Pill is used to treat arthralgia caused by damp-heat betting. The symptoms include redness, swelling, heat and pain in the feet and knees, heaviness of the lower limbs, and little yellow urine. Rheumatoid arthritis, acute gouty arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc. in modern medicine can be reasonably used with reference to the above TCM syndromes and clinical manifestations.
Sanmiao Pills and Coix Seeds are Si Miao Pills, which have the functions of clearing heat, eliminating dampness and promoting blood circulation. Coix seed is used heavily in this recipe, while the dosage of Cortex Phellodendri is less than that of Ermiao Pills, and Cortex Phellodendri is fried with salt, whichever is preferred to nourish yin and reduce fire, which greatly weakens the heat-clearing effect of the whole recipe and favors the elimination of dampness and paralysis.
