"What kind of cold is it? I have rhinitis again, but it annoys me. This rhinitis keeps recurring, and I can't cure it in my life." Sister Huang replied while blowing her nose. It has become bright red.

In daily life, there are all kinds of "major illnesses" or "minor illnesses". Some minor illnesses can be cured with medicines for a few days; It will recur over time, constantly tormenting the patient.

Today Xiaojiu will share with you a few "minor illnesses" that will not "kill people" but may accompany the patient's life.

1. Chronic bronchitis

Chronic bronchitis, also known as chronic bronchitis, refers to the chronic non-specific inflammation of the human trachea, bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues.

Air pollution, smoking, occupational dust and chemical exposure, viral and bacterial infections, as well as increasing age, airway hyperresponsiveness, and immune dysfunction may all cause chronic bronchitis.

There are three main symptoms of chronic bronchitis. One is chronic cough and increased mucus. After the symptoms of increased mucus, the lungs will be stimulated by mucus, which is then cleared by coughing.

The second is fever , which usually appears in the form of low-grade fever and chills; the third is that the symptoms fluctuate , and the patient may experience a period of deterioration and then improve again.

So how should you treat chronic bronchitis?

If the patient's symptoms are not obvious, it is best to quit smoking, stay away from harmful gases, and exercise more at the same time to prevent chronic bronchitis.

For those with severe symptoms, medication can be selected according to different symptoms:

  • Infected patients can be treated with antibiotics to control infection;
  • Chronic bronchitis patients with cough and phlegm can be used in combination with antitussive and expectorant drugs;
  • Patients with asthma symptoms can be treated with antispasmodic and antiasthmatic drugs.

What needs to be questioned is that antibiotics should not be abused in the treatment of chronic bronchitis. Excessive use of antibiotics will lead to the increase of drug-resistant strains, induce superinfection, and even cause a vicious circle. Therefore, the dosage must be strictly controlled.

When the weather is cold, as well as the behavior of smoking, chronic bronchitis may be induced. Usually, the prevention of chronic bronchitis must be done. In cold seasons, warm measures should be taken, and smoking should be quit as soon as possible.

2. Psoriasis

According to statistics, there are 125 million psoriasis patients worldwide and 7 million psoriasis patients in China. These patients are deeply troubled by psoriasis and seek medical treatment everywhere.

Psoriasis, also known as psoriasis, is a chronic, inflammatory, relapsing, systemic skin disease . Generally, the symptoms recur after the disease, which will seriously threaten the quality of life of the patient.

Psoriasis is known as the "immortal cancer" and is difficult to treat. In addition to skin symptoms such as scaling and bleeding, patients will also have systemic damage , and the chances of being targeted by cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and immune diseases are also high.

Moreover, many methods such as phototherapy, bath therapy, exfoliating drugs, and hormone therapy are not effective in treatment.

The occurrence of psoriasis is mainly related to genetics, autoimmune disorders, infections, drug stimulation, stress, weather changes, smoking and other factors. Once psoriasis is diagnosed, consultation with a doctor is recommended for individualized treatment based on the severity of the condition.

However, even if the treatment is cured, there is no cure, and it is recommended that patients should be regularly followed up for diagnosis and treatment.

Patients with psoriasis must take good care of them in normal times, avoid scratching, bumping, and repeatedly rubbing the affected area of the skin, and take precautions to keep warm in winter to avoid catching a cold .

In addition, usually have the habit of opening windows for ventilation to ensure a dry and comfortable working environment.

3. Ichthyosis

Ichthyosis can be divided into symptomatic ichthyosis and hereditary ichthyosis. Symptomatic ichthyosis is generally caused by improper medication or other diseases that cause symptoms similar to ichthyosis, not real ichthyosis.

True ichthyosis, usually caused by genetic defects, is a hereditary disease .

Once suffering from ichthyosis, patients may have symptoms such as scales, erythema, rough skin, keratinized papules and other symptoms. Severe patients may have scales and erythema all over the body, and the skin is particularly rough.

If a large number of ichthyosis-like changes suddenly appear , you must seek medical attention as soon as possible. Because of the appearance of these symptoms, if it is not caused by the lack of vitamin A, it is necessary to be alert that malignant tumors may be at work!

So how do you usually prevent ichthyosis?

1. Moisturize well

Patients with ichthyosis must do a good job of moisturizing, avoid frequent bathing, use lotions with strong cleaning power, etc., and apply moisturizing lotion after bathing to better moisturize and relieve dry skin symptoms.

Doctors suggest that patients with ichthyosis can choose emollients containing ceramides, which have a better moisturizing effect, but patients with severe symptoms are best combined with oral drugs.

2. Use of drugs

Patients with mild symptoms can be combined with 10% uric acid ointment to improve symptoms. For patients with severe symptoms, it is best to take oral vitamin A or vitamin A acid and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor.

3. Appropriate taboos

In addition to moisturizing and using drugs, patients with ichthyosis should also avoid eating properly. It is best to eat more fruits and vegetables containing vitamins, avoid seafood, avoid spicy food, and avoid alcohol.

4. Allergic rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis is an inflammatory reaction disease of the nasal mucosa mediated by IgE, which usually presents with symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, constant sneezing, watery eyes, and itchy eyes.

Allergic rhinitis is generally caused by allergens, such as seafood, mites, protein, plant pollen , etc., which may induce allergic rhinitis.

Allergic rhinitis and a cold are easy to be confused because of the similar symptoms. What is the difference between allergic rhinitis and a cold?

Common colds are accompanied by fever, sore throat, and other symptoms of general malaise, and the color of the snot will change. In rhinitis, there is no fever, no sore throat, and the nasal discharge is always clear, but it will feel a little more itchy .

Moreover, colds are more common in spring and winter, and allergic rhinitis may be perennial or in fixed periods .

However, there is currently no cure for allergic rhinitis, and it is only possible to control rhinitis without attacking.

If you want to control rhinitis without attack, you should avoid contact with allergens, and cooperate with drug treatment and desensitization treatment. If you are allergic to pollen, dust mites, etc., you can use masks, filters, etc. in combination to keep away from allergens, and medicines must be taken according to the doctor's advice.

Although some diseases are minor diseases, they cannot be cured and may accompany people throughout their lives. Such as chronic bronchitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis, allergic rhinitis, etc., are common diseases, usually must do a good job of prevention and treatment, if necessary, consult a doctor for drug treatment.
