How long is it normal for men to 'persist'? Judgment mainly depends on 2 points, a table can quickly self-test

In the past 3 years of marriage, the relationship between Mr. Liu and his wife has become worse and worse. As for the reason, he can hardly tell. It turned out that he had intercourse with his wife no more than 10 times, not because he was not interested in married life, but because the duration of each time was very short, and he lost confidence over time.

Mr. Liu didn't know what was going on with him either, because their husband and wife often quarreled about this matter, and they had been married for several years without having children, and their married life was messed up.

1. Unable to persist, these reasons are the "culprits"

"Unable to persist" is the unspeakable secret of many men, and the culprit is male dysfunction. The most common male dysfunctions are erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). Studies have found that many physical or psychological diseases are high risk factors for ED and PE .

Among them, the risk factors leading to ED include hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, depression and so on. Risk factors leading to PE include depression, metabolic syndrome, chronic prostatitis, and thyroid dysfunction.

In addition, male dysfunction is also closely related to daily behavior habits, especially the following three bad habits.

1. Smoking and drinking

Studies have found that excessive intake of alcohol can inhibit the central nervous system and sexual nerves, affect the transmission of impulses, lead to ED or PE, and reduce the quality of life of couples. Moreover, the level of testosterone in the blood will drop after drinking alcohol, impairing sexual function.

In addition, smoking also has significant adverse effects on male function. The more you smoke, the greater the risk of dysfunction , because nicotine disrupts endocrine, hinders the secretion of sex hormones, and lowers testosterone levels in the blood. Nicotine also acts on blood vessels, making arterioles harden and spasm, thereby affecting sexual function.

2. High-fat diet

A study in the United States found that eating too much high-fat food will increase cholesterol, thereby increasing the risk of ED and PE. The specific reason is not yet clear. Scholars speculate that hyperlipidemia may cause atherosclerosis , leading to narrowing of the lumen of some vessels and causing poor blood flow.

3. Sedentary

Sedentary is defined as sitting still for more than 8 hours a day. There are many dangers of being sedentary, including early male menopause .

On the one hand, men who are sedentary tend to accumulate fat in their abdomens, resulting in a "beer belly". On the other hand, sitting for a long time will cause the prostate and testicles to be squeezed for a long time, which will affect local blood circulation and increase the risk of sexual dysfunction.

Therefore, there are many reasons that lead to male dysfunction. Only by finding out the reasons and prescribing the right medicine can the problem be completely solved. Taking PE as an example, how should we judge whether we are PE, and how to deal with it? Let's learn together!

2. How long does it take for a man to persist before it is considered "normal"?

The duration of a man's persistence varies from person to person. For some, it takes more than ten minutes, and for others, it takes a few minutes. So how long is it normal to persist?

In medicine, premature ejaculation is a common male dysfunction, which mainly refers to ejaculation at the beginning of sexual intercourse, even before the start of ejaculation, and the inability to carry out normal sexual life. How about a few minutes?

According to its clinical definition, the latency of primary premature ejaculation is within 1 minute, and the latency of secondary premature ejaculation is within 3 minutes. In addition to the length of time, it also depends on the satisfaction of the partner. If it is satisfied within 3 minutes, it means that the problem is not serious and it should not be diagnosed as premature ejaculation.

Therefore, the diagnosis of premature ejaculation mainly depends on two points: ① time; ② satisfaction.

If you still can’t judge whether you have premature ejaculation after seeing this, you can also refer to the PE evaluation scale, score each item, and then compare the results to make a judgment:

PE assessment scale results:

·>11 points can be judged as premature ejaculation;

9-10 points, the possibility of premature ejaculation is high;

·<8 points, the possibility of premature ejaculation is small;

3. What should I do? Scientific handling is the key

Premature ejaculation can not only increase the mental burden, cause anxiety and depression, but also affect the harmony of partners and families. If you encounter this disease, don't avoid it, but have a correct attitude, you should actively deal with it, and find the right way to solve the problem.

The first step is to go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment and receive professional treatment intervention, so as to avoid detours. The current treatment methods for premature ejaculation include psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, drug therapy and surgical treatment. The main principle is to reduce the excitability of nerves and brain and establish new conditioned reflexes.

The 2nd pace, husband and wife both sides should undertake good communication . Emotion is the best "lubricant". Understanding each other's needs, cooperating and helping each other, and jointly finding ways to satisfy both parties can not only enhance the relationship, but also build self-confidence and improve the quality of life.

The third step is to change bad living habits , achieve regular work and rest, go to bed early and get up early, stay up late less, and ensure adequate sleep. At the same time, insist on physical exercise, enhance immunity, avoid overwork, quit smoking and limit alcohol, in order to maintain a healthy state and have better physical strength and energy to manage married life.

In life, many men are worried about their "short time", but in fact, there is no need to have such a psychological burden. Of course, if there is a disease problem, you must face it bravely, treat it scientifically, adjust your mentality, and actively solve the problem, so that the married life can be more harmonious.
