Kidney failure always comes silently? Reminder: 4 early symptoms, don't ignore it

thumbnail

Mr. Li is 45 years old this year. He is in the middle-aged period of the old and the young. In order to give the children and the elderly a better life, he has been working hard, and occasionally has symptoms such as fatigue, which he does not care about.

In the subsequent unit physical examination, he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, but because the symptoms were not obvious, he did not pay attention to it.

It was not until a few years later that he was sent to the hospital by his family because of severe weakness and fatigue, and it was discovered that he had reached the stage of renal failure.

1. Don’t ignore kidney disease easily

According to statistics, more than 100 million people in China suffer from chronic kidney disease. Without prompt treatment, it may lead to chronic kidney failure.

Renal failure can be divided into two types: acute renal failure and chronic renal failure. Acute renal failure has no obvious symptoms, and it is difficult to attract enough attention. If renal failure continues to develop, it may evolve into uremia.

According to statistics, one quarter of patients with kidney disease already have uremia at the time of consultation, and 67% of the patients have a serum creatinine greater than 177umol/l. Because people don't know enough about kidney failure, they don't pay attention to kidney disease, which leads to delay in disease and even induces serious disease.

2. Four "clues" in the early stage should be grasped

The kidney is one of the most important organs of the human body. Many people are diagnosed with renal failure. Most of the renal failure may be evolved from chronic kidney disease. Once renal failure occurs, there will actually be some early warning symptoms.

1. Body puffiness

The glomerular filtration rate of patients with renal failure decreases, and the water in the body cannot be excreted in time, which may induce the symptoms of body edema.

2. Repeated rise in blood pressure

If the water in the blood vessels cannot be metabolized by the kidneys in time, it may cause the pressure of the blood vessel wall to be too high, induce the imbalance of water and electrolytes, and cause the symptoms of repeated elevation of blood pressure.

3. Gastrointestinal symptoms

After renal failure occurs, the ability of the kidneys to detoxify decreases, and the metabolism of toxins in the body may be affected, causing some gastrointestinal symptoms such as poor appetite, nausea, and anorexia.

4. Physical weakness

After renal failure, the secretion of erythropoietin in patients will decrease, which may induce some symptoms such as anemia, dizziness, and fatigue.

3. Protect the kidneys, do not do these things

If you want to keep your body healthy, you must take good care of all the organs of the body and protect the kidneys. The following things that hurt the kidneys must be done less.

1. Eat too salty

Foods that are too salty have high salt content, and 95% of the salt needs to be metabolized by the kidneys. Too much salt intake will increase the burden on the kidneys and may even induce kidney damage.

2. Frequent urination

Frequently holding back urine can easily induce bladder damage, and may also cause urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis and other diseases due to urine retention.

3. Indiscriminate use of drugs

Drugs also need to be metabolized by the kidneys, and some drugs are inherently nephrotoxic, so indiscriminate use of drugs should be avoided.

4. Eat too well

According to research, eating too much, especially those who eat too much red meat, sweets, and processed meat, is likely to lead to decreased kidney function.

5. Too fat

Obese people have a higher risk of kidney disease than ordinary people, because obesity can easily lead to hyperlipidemia and even damage to kidney function.

6. Overworked

According to research, about 70% of nephritis is related to frequent overwork.

Kidney damage is related to people’s unhealthy living habits, such as holding back urine frequently, staying up late, overworked and overweight, heavy-taste diets, indiscriminate use of drugs, etc., may all induce kidney damage. Usually, you should always pay attention to abnormal physical symptoms and do regular physical examinations. check.
