Listen to a piece of advice: high blood pressure does not want cerebral hemorrhage, it is best not to touch 4 kinds of food, no matter how greedy you have to hold back
The 40-year-old Mr. Jiang is a small foreman, and he usually drinks alcohol when he socializes.
Last year, he suddenly developed symptoms of weakness and dizziness on his left side at a liquor store. He lost consciousness and became incontinent after a short while, and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After admission, his blood pressure remained high, even reaching 230/125mmHg at the highest, and the doctor diagnosed him as hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Even with antihypertensive drugs, the blood pressure still does not reach the ideal level . Fortunately, after careful treatment by medical staff, the rescue was successful, but there were sequelae.
Today, Mr. Jiang is unable to straighten his left upper limb, has a hemiplegic gait in his left lower limb, cannot move his toes, and coughs when he drinks water, making it almost impossible for him to live a normal life.
1. High blood pressure is the "biggest bane" of stroke
"China Stroke Report 2019 (Chinese version)" pointed out that stroke has become the leading cause of premature death and disease burden in China. In addition, at least 1 in every 5 deaths in China is due to stroke. In all stroke patients, cerebral hemorrhage accounts for 10%-20%, and the mortality rate is as high as 50% .
In cerebral hemorrhage, more than 80% are related to hypertension . Under the stimulation of emotional excitement, mental stress, strenuous exercise, forced defecation and other factors, the blood pressure will rise in a short time, exceeding the limit of the tube wall's tolerance, causing the weak part to rupture, and finally causing cerebral hemorrhage.
In addition to high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, sedentary, heavy drinking, drug abuse, etc. are also risk factors for cerebral hemorrhage.
In 2017, the Kailuan study published in the journal Hypertension showed that compared with people with systolic blood pressure <120mmHg, people whose systolic blood pressure continued to be 170mmHg had a 4-fold increased risk of cerebral infarction and an 11.4-fold increased risk of cerebral hemorrhage .
Wang Xing, deputy chief physician of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the 983rd Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Joint Logistics Support Force, once mentioned that the higher the blood pressure, the greater the risk of cerebral hemorrhage. For every 20 mmHg increase in systolic blood pressure, the risk of intracerebral hemorrhage increased by 24%; for every 10 mmHg increase in diastolic blood pressure, the risk of intracerebral hemorrhage increased by 23%.
Moreover, cerebral hemorrhage can also lead to various sequelae. In the acute phase of cerebral hemorrhage, the fatality rate is even as high as 30%-40% .
However, although high blood pressure is closely related to cerebral hemorrhage, not all patients with high blood pressure will develop cerebral hemorrhage. If hypertensive patients can detect abnormal blood pressure in time, seek medical attention actively, and take medicines on time as prescribed by the doctor, and control blood pressure within the normal range, the risk of cerebral hemorrhage can be greatly reduced.
2. Chinese people are more prone to cerebral hemorrhage, and early warning should be detected and prevented in time
In fact, when cerebral hemorrhage comes, it is not silent. But in daily life, most people still ignore the early warning signals of the body, which eventually leads to tragedy.
Studies have shown that the incidence of cerebral hemorrhage in Chinese is more than 20%, while the incidence of cerebral hemorrhage in foreigners is only 10%. In other words, we Chinese are a high-risk group of cerebral hemorrhage. Experts believe that, on the one hand, it is related to race, and the severity of intracranial lesions in Chinese is higher than that of Westerners; on the other hand, it is related to the substandard blood pressure treatment of Chinese.
Therefore, for hypertensive patients, if the body suddenly has the following abnormalities, it is necessary to be vigilant:
1. Headache
Sudden onset of headache on one side, with increased intracranial pressure, the headache may spread from one side to the entire head, accompanied by symptoms of vomiting.
2. Dizziness
Sudden dizziness, feeling like the world is spinning, unsteady, or even fainted to the ground.
3. Numbness
Numbness, weakness, and inconvenience of movement on one side of the limb, accompanied by symptoms of slanted corners of the mouth and slurred speech.
4. Darkness
There is a temporary darkening in front of the eyes, or one eye suddenly becomes unclear, and there is a double image.
5. Powerless
The grip strength of the arm suddenly decreased, and there was no strength to hold things.
6. Cough
Often inexplicable choking when drinking or eating.
If someone encounters the above situation, you should learn first aid and seize the gold for 5 minutes. First, immediately call 120 for emergency services. Before the ambulance arrives, keep the patient on their back with their head turned to one side and do not move the patient frequently.
Then clean the foreign body from the patient's mouth and pull out the patient's tongue to avoid choking. Finally, lowering the temperature of the patient's head reduces oxygen consumption in the brain.
3. If you have high blood pressure, you don't want to have cerebral hemorrhage, you must learn to avoid it
The occurrence of high blood pressure is closely related to diet. If you do not want to induce cerebral hemorrhage, in addition to controlling blood pressure, you should also eat less of these 4 foods:
1. High-fat foods
Although high-fat foods such as fried chicken and French fries are delicious and convenient, they contain a lot of fat. Frequent consumption of these foods can easily lead to high blood lipids, hinder normal blood circulation, and indirectly lead to high blood pressure.
2. High-salt foods
High-salt diet is the number one culprit of high blood pressure, which is closely related to the continuous increase of blood pressure. Restricting salt intake can not only prevent high blood pressure, but also help patients with high blood pressure to control blood pressure.
3. Foods high in sugar
Free sugar is the invisible promoter of high blood pressure. Common white sugar, brown sugar, rock sugar, fructose syrup, etc. , especially high fructose syrup, is directly related to the increase of blood pressure.
When blood sugar rises, the body releases a large amount of insulin in order to lower blood sugar, which stimulates blood vessel constriction and increases blood pressure.
4. High cholesterol foods
High cholesterol foods such as animal offal and fatty meat can easily lead to overweight and obesity, increase the content of saturated fatty acids in the body, and eventually lead to increased blood pressure.
In addition, the prevention of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage requires reasonable exercise, such as aerobic exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming, yoga, etc.; blood pressure is checked, and re-examination is performed on time; Stop the medication as soon as it drops.
High blood pressure is not a trivial matter, and if you do not pay attention to controlling blood pressure in minutes, it may lead to cerebral hemorrhage. In daily life, if you want to be healthy and have normal blood pressure, you must develop good living habits, not just your appetite.
